With over 1500m² of flexible space, supported by state of the art technology, ORTUS is an ideal venue for your next conference, meeting, training course, workshop, academic lecture, reception and a range of other events.

Our meeting rooms

Connect

Maximum capacity: 140 people

Connect is our largest single event room with a total floor space of 146m² and maximum capacity of 140.

Buddy & Adamson

Maximum capacity: 80 people each

Options: 1 to 3 rooms, depending upon your needs

Buddy and Adamson suites are large spaces, up to 121m², with a flexible layout capable of seating up to 80 people each. Through the use of acoustically sealed partitions, they can be divided into 2 or 3 smaller rooms.

All of our rooms can be arranged to suit your needs and event purpose. This could be in rows, classroom rows or boardroom, with rectangular or round tables.

What’s included?

ORTUS features state of the art equipment for all your event needs, whether meeting in person, streaming online or a hybrid of the two. Any extra AV can be hired at an additional cost.

All rooms come equipped with:

  • Laptops
  • Wi-Fi for all attendees

Bookings for the full Adamson suite (all 3 rooms combined) can access:

  • Microphones
  • Ceiling mounted projector and screen (or TV)

Connect has:

  • Ceiling-mounted microphones
  • Microsoft Teams compatibility with tracking camera

All rooms come equipped with:

  • Flip charts and/or marker pens for rooms with whiteboards
  • A lectern
  • Pens & paper
  • Mineral water
  • All setup, set down & cleaning

Make a booking

We manage bookings via our Priava platform. You will need to register or login to view room availability and make your booking. We have a guide to assist with using this platform.

We have three options below for making your booking, depending upon whether you are part of South London and Maudsley Foundation Trust and if you are using an Education and Development department budget.

  • South London and Maudsley Trust events – using an Education and Development budget
  • South London and Maudsley Trust only events
  • All other bookings (Not from South London and Maudsley Trust)

Catering

We offer a range of high-quality menu packages to suit every budget.
