Lambeth

We fund projects across the London Borough of Lambeth. A diverse Inner London borough, home to 325,000 people

We fund projects across the borough both in our hospital services and in the community. We work closely with a number of community based organisations to improve the lives of people living with mental illness.

We’ve been working with Raw Sounds to deliver music based projects, both in the local community and at Lambeth Hospital. In 2018 we funded a project to work with people from BME LGBT+ and Portuguese communities to talk about their experiences of mental wellbeing.

We recognise the diverse culture of our local communities and are proud to fund the Grounding Project, a Kennington based, project that works with refugees and asylum seekers experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

In Lambeth more than 37,600 people have a common mental illness, the borough has some of the highest rates of Psychosis in Europe.
