A conversation between Bethany Williams, artist and fashion designer, and France Corner OBE, Chair of Maudsley Charity
To mark the end of her exhibition at Ortus, home of Maudsley Charity, Bethany Williams – artist, humanitarian and sustainable fashion designer, joined the charity’s Chair Frances Corner OBE in a conversation about her practice, chronic pain, recovery and the importance of nature for well-being, drawing on her connections to her home in the Isle of Man.
Professor Corner is a long-time colleague of Bethany’s has more than 20 years’ experience in higher education leadership and as a campaigner, she has championed the role of fashion as a force for innovation and change, particularly in the areas of sustainability, health and well-being.
