Local restaurant offer backs Maudsley Charity’s mental health mission

Cin Cin, a modern Italian restaurant in Fitzrovia, is partnering with Maudsley Charity to launch a delectable year-long fundraising offer. From June 2022 the restaurant will donate £1 for each order of a nominated charity dessert, starting with their delicious pistachio crostatina (baked tart), with orange, rose, crema fresca.

The idea behind the initiative came from restaurant staff who wanted to have a positive impact in their local community. They chose to support Maudsley Charity because good mental health is a priority for the team.

Cin Cin owner, David Toscano, explains:

“Protecting the mental health of our employees is a key challenge for the hospitality sector. Maudsley Charity does amazing work in this area, helping children and young adults make sense of the modern world. And as a local London charity close to our Fitzrovia restaurant, Maudsley Charity was the perfect fit as the Cin Cin London Charity of 2022."

“We’re delighted that Cin Cin has chosen to fundraise for us. The restaurant is making it easy and enjoyable for people to donate to a worthy cause. We’re grateful for this opportunity to increase people’s awareness of the charity and the work we do to help those living with mental illness.”
