Bulimia Nervosa treatment for BAME communities

Reducing the stigma for young people to access Bulimia Nervosa treatment in south east London

This project aims to reduce stigma and help young people from BAME communities to access treatment for Bulimia Nervosa. Through outreach to communities, and working with schools and parents, it will address the low rates of referral for Bulimia Nervosa from BAME communities in south east London. The project is based in Lewisham working through South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust’s – Child and Adolescent services and social services.
