Richard Morley

Head of Communications

Richard Morley is head of communications for the Maudsley Charity and is responsible for overseeing strategic communications and fundraising, he also holds overall responsibility for the organisation’s IT and technical infrastructure.

Richard additionally manages art strategy for the charity, working closely with our partners. He also supports and promotes the work of the ORTUS, a Maudsley Charity owned events, education, cafe and public access space based at the Maudsley Hospital.

Richard has previously worked at South London and Maudsley NHS Trust and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London and has more than 15 years’ experience working in the mental health sector.

Richard is a trustee of the Adamson Collection Trust, one of the major international collections of art objects made by people who lived in European long stay mental asylums.
