Daniel is Assistant Director of Evaluation at the Youth Endowment Fund, a charity that exists to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. He has extensive experience in the evaluation of early intervention, as well as evidence-informed policy making more broadly.

Daniel has worked in a range of different sectors including roles at the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development, the Early Intervention Foundation and the Office for Civil Society at Cabinet Office. Daniel is a developmental psychologist with a PhD that focused on social and cognitive development and lives locally in Lambeth.

Daniel is an independent trustee. The Maudsley Charity Board comprises eight independent trustees including the Chair (David Barclay), and three trustees nominated by the Board of South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
