Béatrice Butsana-Sita brings a wealth of experience in commercial strategy and leadership from a series of high-profile senior roles. She was Managing Director at Capita IT and Networks until late 2018. She is to become the next CEO of the British Red Cross and was most recently CEO of Greenhouse Sports, a London-based charity that uses sport to engage young people and improve their life chances.

She began her career at KPMG in Belgium, then moved to New York to pursue her career in consultancy. Her roles have also included running her own software business and working as a managing director at British Telecom (BT).

Béatrice has previous experience as a non-executive director in the NHS, at Newham Primary Care Trust in London. She represented BT at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2014 and appeared on the list of the 100 women to watch published by Cranfield University.

 

Béatrice is a Trustee nominated by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. The Maudsley Charity Board comprises eight independent trustees including the Chair (David Barclay), and three trustees nominated by the Board of South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
