Give in memory

Mark or celebrate the life of a loved one and create a lasting impact for people living with mental illness.

Whether you want to set up a funeral collection in lieu of flowers, organise a fundraising activity in their honour, create a tribute page, or something else, get in touch and we’ll support you along the way.

Contact our fundraising manager, Vipasna, on vipasna.carrington@maudsleycharity.org (020 3696 9760 ext 2021).

Offer a funeral collection

Some people choose to collect charity donations from guests at their loved one’s funeral – this can be a meaningful way for guests to express their condolences, particularly if you would prefer not to receive flowers. If you’d like to do this, contact Vipasna and we can help you set this up in the best way for you.

Make a one-off donation

If you would prefer to honour your loved one’s memory privately, you can make a one-off donation to Maudsley Charity in their name.

Create a tribute page

When someone you care about has died, being able to share memories with others who knew and loved them can be an important part of the grieving process as well as being a powerful way to recognise and celebrate the positive impact they had throughout their life.

You can set up a tribute page through MuchLoved to remember a relative or friend, reflect on their life, and make donations in their memory. It’s quick and easy to set up and can be kept online for as long as you wish. You can invite others to donate, share stories, photos, music and videos on your loved one’s tribute page, or even to light a virtual candle for them.
