Young volunteers from Healthwatch Lewisham raise money for the Maudsley Charity

Healthwatch Lewisham, the independent champion for people who use health and social care services in the borough, have partnered with the National Citizen Service – which is a programme that empowers 15-17 year olds to develop their own social action projects through volunteering.

This summer, two teams of young people have decided to support the Maudsley Charity through their volunteering to raise awareness and fundraise for children and young people’s mental health.

So far they have conducted a sponsored walk and bake sales, one team have already raised an amazing £250 for The Maudsley Charity!

Healthwatch Lewisham says, ‘We are excited to see what the second team achieve!’
